Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions apply to all orders placed with Buywise Domestics Ltd through www.buywiseappliances.co.uk.

Please read these Terms carefully before placing an order. By placing an order, you agree to be bound by them.

2. Our Contract With You

When you place an order, you will receive an order confirmation email. This email confirms receipt of your order but does not constitute acceptance.

A contract is formed only when we dispatch the goods.

We reserve the right to refuse or cancel orders prior to dispatch, including where pricing errors or stock availability issues occur.

3. Pricing & Payment

All prices are shown in GBP and include VAT where applicable.

We accept payment via PayPal, including debit and credit card payments processed securely through PayPal.

We reserve the right to correct pricing errors at any time. If a pricing error is identified after you place an order, we will contact you to confirm whether you wish to proceed.

Fraud Prevention

We reserve the right to refuse, delay or cancel any order where we reasonably suspect fraudulent activity or unauthorised payment.

We may request additional verification, including proof of identity or confirmation from the cardholder, before dispatching goods.

If satisfactory verification is not provided, we reserve the right to cancel the order and issue a refund to the original payment method.

Chargebacks & Payment Disputes

If you believe a payment has been made fraudulently or in error, please contact us directly so we can investigate promptly.

Initiating a chargeback without first contacting us may delay resolution and could result in additional investigation.

Where goods have been delivered to the address provided at checkout and delivery confirmation is available, we reserve the right to dispute chargebacks with the relevant payment provider.

We reserve the right to recover costs incurred as a result of fraudulent or unjustified chargebacks.

4. Price Match Policy

We offer a price match on like-for-like products subject to the following conditions:

• The product must be identical (brand, model, specification).
• The competitor must have the item in stock.
• The competitor price must include all delivery charges.
• The retailer must be UK-based and authorised.

We reserve the right to decline price match requests at our discretion.

5. Delivery

Delivery options and charges are explained on our Delivery Information page.

We operate our own delivery fleet in selected areas and use approved white goods courier partners for other regions.

Delivery times are estimates and not guaranteed unless explicitly agreed in writing.

Risk in the goods passes to you upon delivery. Ownership passes once full payment has been received.

6. Installation & Access

It is your responsibility to ensure:

• The appliance will fit into the intended space.
• Access routes are clear and suitable.
• Old appliances are disconnected unless installation has been purchased.

We are not responsible for additional costs arising from restricted access or incorrect measurements.

7. Cancellation & Returns

If you are purchasing as a consumer, you have statutory rights under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 and the Consumer Rights Act 2015.

Please see our Returns & Refunds page for full details of your cancellation rights and return process.

Trade customers do not have the same cancellation rights as consumers unless otherwise agreed in writing.

8. Faulty Goods

If goods are faulty, damaged or not as described, your rights are protected under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.

We may offer repair or replacement before issuing a refund where appropriate.

9. Limitation of Liability

Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes liability for:

• Death or personal injury caused by negligence
• Fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation
• Any liability that cannot be excluded under UK law

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to the value of the goods purchased.

10. Force Majeure

We are not liable for delays or failure to perform obligations due to events beyond our reasonable control, including transport disruption, supplier failure, or natural events.

11. Intellectual Property

All website content, including text, images and branding, is the property of Buywise Domestics Ltd or its licensors and may not be reproduced without permission.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
